When a unicorn was young, this spell was simple to maintain...
but as they aged and grew weary, it became increasingly difficult
A unicorn could not die of old age,
but they could succumb to sickness and injury if they did not care for themselves
Because of this, some of the older unicorns would allow their spell to fade when they were alone,
to conserve their energy.
